Job Description
National Water Services, Inc. (NWS) is seeking an Executive Leader with extensive experience and contacts within the Energy Services industry. The ideal candidate would have experience in maximizing women-owned business certifications to help develop energy service contracts and subcontracting opportunities.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Evaluate project opportunities and perform financial and market due diligence in order to objectively qualify projects in a timely manner and make determinations on whether and how to proceed.
• Lead and track all aspects of project development from concept through closing and closely monitor sales, operations and subcontracting teams.
• Provide executive leadership to develop, manage and execute new sales strategies.
• Full responsibility for Company P&L, including setting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue and sales activity goals.
• Successfully identify and work with key project decision makers and influencers to bring projects to contract and completion.
• Negotiate key project agreements, sales proposals, major vendor agreements, subcontractor agreements, and other contracts and agreements as required.
• Maintain a strong Company presence at key industry events and trade shows, including doing presentations; represent the Company professionally and effectively.
• Oversee Company’s marketing efforts including determining the best practices and uses of marketing dollars and resources.
• Identify new and emerging growth opportunities and drive the strategy, planning and development for expansion into those new market opportunities. This includes identifying emerging opportunities, as well as developing tactics to gain market share within existing sales channels.
• Oversee the scouting, hiring and training of key Company personnel, as needed.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, changes in business practices, competitive landscape, and other business factors and lead changes in Company services and sales techniques to ensure Company remains an industry leader.
Experience Level
• Executive leadership experience and capability to developing and managing high-powered, revenue generating sales teams.
• Thorough knowledge of renewable energy industry, structure, opportunities, trends, and issues.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial, technical, contractual and regulatory requirements of energy service industry, with an emphasis on water conservation services and products.
• Advanced knowledge of contract administration and its application in the performance contracting arena.
• Highly creative aptitude for generating innovative solutions.
• Superior relationship building skills with a proven ability to influence all levels of employees and business contacts.
• Extremely articulate and possess superb written communication, presentation and reasoning skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, well organized and able to lead cross-functional executions simultaneously.
• Possess an analytical and pragmatic approach to solving problems.
• Proven ability to excel in a fast paced, continually growing and changing environment.
• BA/BS degree required, Masters preferred.
• 5+ Years of executive-level management experience required.
• 10+ Years of energy service contracting experience preferred.
