Market Building Activities

NAESCO has established productive working relationships with several national and regional organizations that together help increase the market for energy efficiency and performance contracting. NAESCO is continually reaching out to other organizations to collaborate on energy efficiency market building activities. Some of the key organizations with which NAESCO works are:

Business Development

In addition to helping build markets for energy efficiency, NAESCO also provides marketing and business development opportunities for its members.

Annual and Regional Conferences

NAESCO holds one national conference annually which provides attendees with market information and intelligence as well as networking opportunities. Vendor showcases are valuable features of NAESCO's national conferences and are an ideal environment for project managers and affiliate member representatives to discuss recent product launches and how they can be integrated into retrofit projects.

NAESCO also sponsors regional meetings and conferences which are opportunities for members to meet local and state energy officials, to mingle with their regional counterparts and have interactive discussions about region-specific issues.

Notifications of RFQs and RFPs

NAESCO collects and reviews public sector RFQs and RFPs, sends out appropriate notices to members, and maintains them in an RFP database that is accessible by members only.

According to a recent NAESCO member survey, members said that having information about their company and a hyperlink on the NAESCO website has helped them in increasing brand recognition and in connecting with other members.
